WeCreate in collaboration with the Prince Edward County Museums present two NEW inaugural outdoor summer events:
SUNDAY, JUNE 12, 2022 (10am – 4pm) Ameliasburgh Heritage Village 517 County Rd 19, Ameliasburgh, PEC Ameliasburgh Heritage Village has grown from one building in 1968, to a complex of museum buildings and displays. A log cabin, display barns, an operational blacksmith shop, a carpenter’s shop, a sap shanty, dairy and beekeeping buildings, a general store and a large stone building housing the Goldie Corliss 18 foot flywheel. WeCreate artisans will be nestled amongst this historic village. & SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2022 (10am – 4pm) Macaulay Heritage Park 23 Church St, Picton, PEC Macaulay Heritage Park is an attractive historic site featuring many points of interest: Macaulay House, built in 1830 and restored to the mid-1850s; the historic former Church of St. Mary Magdalene, now a museum; the old St. Mary Magdalene Parish Cemetery; Heritage Gardens and the Carriage House. Together they comprise beautiful parkland for visitors to enjoy. What a great backdrop for WeCreate “Artisans at the Museum”on Saturday, September 10th.
These inaugural artisan markets are outdoor events showcasing the works of local, regional and Canadian handcrafting creatives! Rain or shine events. $5 entry (Kids 12 Under Free) includes entrance to explore and tour the museum and grounds... a lovely shopping and educational day for all who attend!
